Design:
Next to my UX and marketing work for Valtech Mobility I create visual concepts, key visuals and layouts for film productions and musicians. In the previous few years I have designed a huge number of pitch booklets and key visuals for film productions.
Painting:
I’ve started with graffiti in 1989. In 1996 I painted first canvases and did exhibitions. Currently I am experimenting with combining digital and AI with analogue painting techniques.
Music:
I have been part of 15 album productions and have been on the road in Europe with the bands Slut and Pelzig since 1995. Since 2022 I am working on my first solo album as A Certain Someone.
History:
RENÉ ARBEITHUBER, born in Austria in 1974, grew up in Ingolstadt and lives and works in Munich. In 1989 he started his art career with first illegal graffiti and was the initiator of the Graffiti Hall Of Fame in Ingolstadt in 1995. As a visual artist he has been involved in national and international exhibitions since 1996. Because of his unmistakable, wild mix of styles, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung 2010 gave him the title “Brush of Wrath”. In 2003 Arbeithuber co-founded the xhoch4 design studio being a partner and designer there until 2016. xhoch4's work has won numerous renowned design awards. From 2016 to 2018 he worked as Creative Director at the digital agency Valtech - since 2018 to present at Valtech Mobility, which is based in the automotive sector. In 1995 he founded the band Pelzig in and in 1996 he became a member of the band Slut. In 1999 he began studying communication design at the University of Applied Sciences in Nuremberg, but ended it due to his increasing musical activity with Slut and the record contract with Virgin Records. The band has played successful tours in Europe since 1994. In 2001 Slut played with Robbie Williams in the Munich Olympic Hall. In 2005 the band was at Stefan Raab's first Bundesvision Song Contest and set The Threepenny Opera to 21 sold-out performances at the Theater Ingolstadt. In 2009, after the release of the sixth regular studio album, the band wrote and recorded Corpus Delicti - A Music Novel with the writer Juli Zeh and turned it into a multimedia play, a radio play and a two-week tour. The band has written various theater and film music, including for Hans-Christian Schmids Crazy. Arbeithuber has been involved in 15 album productions to date. (Source: WIKIPEDIA)
